The Herd ILC on Tanti Ave, Mornington was not only the first of its kind for our Excelcon team, but has also become a pioneer in Victorian Early Learning. Fostering an environment for both childcare and aged care residents to connect with each other, it was important that we delivered to our clients an inviting space that promoted the holistic development of the young students.

Renovating an existing building on the property and incl adjoining reception, we prioritised an open-plan model that allows independence for the children to move around the centre, and accessibility for the aged care to watch and participate in activities. This is complemented by a modern playscape area, ensuring a rich sensory experience, as well as an aesthetic centrepiece for the community to see and enjoy.
